Parallel Action Film
I came up with this idea because we were supposed to do a parallel action film and the first thing that came to my mind was a phone call. I thought it would be fun if the characters didn't know who they were talking to, as if they were anonymous online friends, and for that, it would probably make more sense if they were typing. After I came up with a basic idea, I started to write a storyboard with the shots I had in mind, I added more details and shared them with the group; We adapted to a final version and started filming. I don't think we did anything special for this film, but this time it was different from previous recordings because we used a relevant object in the scenes that played an important role in the story, in this case, the cell phones.
I think that the shots turned out well. We managed to do a variety of different shot sizes and angles. On the other hand, I didn't like the background sound that much, and I had a hard time downloading it. Later I found out that it was something with my computer's downloading settings. To improve the background sound next time, I could watch some videos on how to use the sound features in adobe so the cuts sound smoother. Overall it was really fun to film this project, and it taught me how to plan and execute a parallel action film and work on my editing skills.
